First off I would like to say I didn't like I loved everything about the hotel from the Excellent customer service, decor, cleanliness, and location Oh and not let me forget about the bed.If your like me my bed has to be comfortable and it met my expectations all the way.The bed is adjustable to how you like it (Yes i said to how you like it) and the mattress was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it but forgot i was on a "Girls Trip lol.Every Floor has it's own Coffee Stand right off from the Elevators you can also get you some water and ice as well. There are vending machines which has drinks and snacks. The rooftop is where the pool and bar is located and also has a social area,at night it's Beautifully lighten up OMG!! It's something you have to experience. My husband is Retired Military and we have done alot of traveling. We have experienced The Good and the Bad of lodging Experience and I must say Staying at The Yotel in DC was The Best I ever Experienced (and I am very picky)I wish they have more of them around.Sorry for the review being so long but I was trying not to leave anything out which I know I did

Yotel is a bit of a weird hotel experience. Its location, first of all, is A+ for visiting DC , especially the Capitol--super for political business. For quick ins and out, good services, cabs--super. For a touristic visitor it's--well, a little trippy. Super modern, so much so one wonders why they tried so hard, forgetting that old-fashioned pleasures like comfy chairs are okay too, or a bathroom more set off, for privacy of one or another of the visitors. But it's forceful experience of super-modern is also very efficient--and most of the staff are downright nice, as well as efficient, which makes up for its sort of programmatic qualities. An interesting taste of the new, leaving a hunger for the old, perhaps.

Our stay was great and a great value. Staff, from the cleaning people to concierge to everyone in between were wonderful. The proximity to the Capital and Mall and was excellent -- just a few blocks. The rooms were somewhat like the "businessman rooms" in Japan -- sleek but with everything we needed. The bed slept better than the one we have a home. All the touchscreens and mood lighting were futuristic touches I enjoyed playing with. Tip: if you want less street nois,e ask for a room facing the inside of the U-shaped building. Security was high -- you needed your room card to use the elevator. The hall coffee makers made great coffee. And the ice machine had a setting for ice and water in your cup.

Clean, some of the staff was really nice. I love staying there because of how nice the facilities are!!! I wish they had free early check in or late check out if they have the rooms. I've never seen a hotel that charges for those. The rooms are always very nice and some of my favorite beds (I travel a lot). The beds are comfy and the housekeeping service is great. Love the little touches around the room. Great location by Capitol and Union station.

The location was perfect for my one night/one day business trip to DC; I had to be on Capitol Hill. The electric bed which went from a comfy tv-watching sofa to a full-length king was fun, and I slept well. The automatic check-in/check-out procedure was great- quick, no waiting for a front desk person, and easy to do. Although there aren’t coffee makers in the rooms, each floor has a surprisingly good automatic coffee machine by the elevators.
